I think it must puzzle my friends that JK and I are still planning vacations together with the kids as if we are still married. Well, we can't help it. We both want to spend time with the kids and it's less work taking care of two kids when there are two adults, particularly we have a boy and a girl. Just imagine in the middle of watching a movie or swimming in the beach and one of them say they have to use the bathroom. Take both kids to the bathroom or test the survival skills of one of them?
In time, I think we'll be more comfortable going on vacation without each other. But for now, there is no down side to being "a family".
