Brother and Sister

It is amazing what kids can do to parents. They make you laugh heartily and drive you nuts all at the same time. Ethan drove JK jumping out of bed yestersday when Ethan cried nonstop. Yes, Ethan won again, he did not stop until JK put him in the back carrier. That's the only why Ethan would sleep at night. Since Ethan is sick, JK gave up after a half hour or so and gave in.

For me, the most heartfelt moment now is when I see Ethan looking for his sister, with his palms up and arms to his side asking, "Mui mui?" Then he runs to the swing, looks on my bed, and then looks to the sofas. When he finds her, he holds her hand, then lowers his head slowly to put his cheeks to her lips for a kiss. Baby girl just looks at him and continues looking around in her nonchalant way. So it looks like they will keep each other company when they get older. May be then, JK and I will have our lives back.
