Trying New Food
Artimus and Ethan find it abominable to try new food.  But we march on!  This is their first Korean barbecue lunch.  They only ate the barbecue pork.  Nothing else.  Oh well, one step at a time ... GOSH, THEY DRIVE ME NUTS!  (Just kidding.  I find yoga and meditation quite helpful for parents. Om!)

Ethan playing with his chopsticks.  His plate was for looks only.  Food?  What's that?  He told me he is on a diet and has a few pounds to lose.

I wanted a picture of my skinny self before downing all that pork.

Artimus saw something on the ceiling that mesmerized her.  Uh, I think the food requires the head to tilt down.  But of course, everything else is more interesting.  Oh, thanks to Daddy who bravely downed most of the pork and chicken.  They tasted yummy but I can't afford the gym membership.  Daddy will be sweating in Singapore so he'll be okay.

Morning Rituals - Soon to be History

Every morning, Artimus stands on her little black chair in front of her closet and agonizes over which dress to wear.  This is the problem of choices.

Waiting at the uniform shop for her uniforms to be ready for pick-up.  Starting next week, she will have a choice of the same uniform jumper, over the same looking white Peter Pan shirt, and same color stocking and shoes.  I wonder if she will careless about clothes, like her brother.  Ethan prefers uniforms - less to think about.

Trip to Sebago Lake - A Time with Nature

Walking to the beach from our cabin on the first morning.

Look at the fishes swimming all around!

I was so cold from the dip in the beach!

Forget the swim.  Building a river was so much more fun.

Look, we can swing by ourselves!

Just fixing up the river after a rain storm.

D and T taking a moment from fishing.

I was freezing cold.  A peach helps.

Yummy peach!

We got fish!

Dinner before the big pour!

The day after the major rain storm, we boated under clear blue sky.

We boated to the other end of Sebago Lake and found a schools of fish in much bigger sizes.

Summer Vacation in Puerto Rico

We took the ferry to the island with the beach on our first day.  The weather was great!

Do you see how clear the water was?

Yes, mommy was relaxing because we were just playing on the beach ... and swimming with Daddy.

Ethan played chess against the women team: Mommy and Artimus.

It doesn't matter how old she gets, she sleeps like a baby on Mommy's bosom when exhausted.

This was a water fall in El Yunge rain forest.

Do you see Artimus and Daddy?  They climbed the rocks to get near the waterfall just for this picture!

Mommy and Artimus by a public beach. We were looking for local stuff to do and to eat.

Artimus and Daddy.

The next day, we went back to the beach.  But it was stormy and windy.  The waves were hard!  But it was so much fun.  Do you see us three swimming in the open water?  It's the Atlantic ocean!

This game was the boys against Mommy.  She almost won but I distracted her and she lost!

Did I mention the water park in the resort?  It was great.  No lines.  We just kept riding these water slides again and again.

We were freezing, but we couldn't stop going up again!

Artimus and Ethan discovered their talent in flying kites at El Moro.

The day before our last day, we just played on the beach in the Hilton resort.  We swam with fishes too.

At the Hilton, there was no water park.  But there was a fake water slide and other inflated toys.  Ethan and Artimus were up and down like pros.

On our last day, we fed the beautiful fishes by the piers.  The water was so clear we saw them all.  This was a photo at the hammock.  (Daddy has the pictures of us feeding the fish.)

Ethan took this picture.  Artimus was whining successfully, as you can see.
